Annual Meetings

Each fall, the Adventist Theological Society coordinates scholarly meetings in connection with the Evangelical Theological Society.  This provides not only time for collegiality and academic rigor among Adventist scholars, but also opportunity to fellowship with non-Adventist evangelical scholars who share many of our interests and values.  During this time Society members also take part in the annual Society of Biblical Literature and ASOR meetings as both as participants and presentors.

On the Go!

ATS is on the go!  Australia, Portugal, Siberia, Germany, Indonesia, Netherlands, Spain, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Korea. Been there.  Going there.  It’s one of the realities of ATS’s aggressive international venture in providing a theological resource for our Church worldwide. Whether it’s a Bible symposia for theology students, speaking at a ministers’ or camp meeting, or starting a new ATS local chapter, workers and lay people in every Church division are learning how ATS can make a difference in their lives and in our church.  ATS is increasingly appreciated as a sound theological resource.  Church leadership wherever we go is expressing their appreciation of both the tenor and content of our presentations.

ATS is repeatedly invited by international division, union, and conference leadership to conduct Bible conferences/symposia for their pastors and lay members—as well as to relate to specific theological needs.  Because of generous financial support ATS is able to cover travel expenses for these international ventures enabling areas of our world to receive valuable theological resource that they might not otherwise be able to facilitate.

Over the last few years we have established a presence and are outlining a schedule of service in every division.  The Society’s theological resource to our world church reaches into the future.  Its Vice-President for Global Outreach is currently scheduling Bible Symposia and teams of visiting scholars.

If you have an area of scholarly expertise and would like to participate in one of these international ATS Bible Symposia, contact our Vice President for Global Outreach at www.atsjats.org to discuss the possibility.
